Some levels that have alternate rulesets don't make that very clear when you first select them. Notifications for when numbers go to 5 instead of 6, for example, would be a nice addition.

I absolutely love this game, and other than more characters and levels, the biggest suggestion i have is adding sex sounds, with their own volume slider of course 

i had that planned! i decided that since they're constantly having sex while you're doing the puzzle, having constant sex noises would be annoying. but i'd love to at least have dinosaur roars and splats during the big orgasm at the end if nothing else... or maybe clearing some blocks would play sex noises for a few seconds after

that was a unique game, in that it was basically released in a finished state! i have never really added anything to it. it came with a set of characters with were all connected meaningfully and it would be difficult to add more -- mostly because of the password system.

thank you for your kind words about my new game! i don't know what my next game will be, but I love monster mind and I'd love to somehow recapture the magic of that game some day.

Perhaps you could do something similar to Minesweeper, or perhaps something to do with dice, like a little sorta board game. Sorry if these weren't the best ideas (I had some good ones earlier but lost them), but hopefully it helps.

I loved the game so far, it's cute, spicy and even though it's a prototype the gameplay is very addicting, brings a somewhat similar feel to the puyopuyo series, where making combos is priority, and achieving big combos is just all kinds of juicy;

I played to around level 12, playing for high scores is nice and simple, but two mechanics that could be expanded on are combo setups and game modes.

For one, instead of the special climax blocks (the ones with pink outline) instantly finishing the level, they would charge up a resource you could spend to swap two adjacent blocks in place, that would be limited but allow for better long combos to be set up

For two, extra gameplay modes, such as boss battles, a short story mode, or even a time attack would all give the game greater longevity, as those would help feel fresh.

good call -- i'm definitely on board with some kind of,  "build up a resource and use it to activate special moves" type of thing. i don't know what form it would take. i thought maybe it would be cool if activating a big group of 3s gave you one reward, and 5s gave you a different reward, or something like that. i'm not sure!

First of all, I want to clarify that I am very bad at puzzles, so keep that in mind when reading this.

The puzzles are simple, but I often felt like I couldn't move forward because I couldn't see many available combos (I'm not sure if it was because I had trouble distinguishing them visually or because I'm very dumb). I also wasn't very interested in continuing to play because I think part of the fun of this game is watching the animations. However, I can't pay attention to them because I'm focused on the game. I understand why the animations progress alongside my score, but when I go slowly or score few points, the animations stop. This makes me feel pressured and I end up not enjoying either the animation or the game.

Other than that, I'd like to see the whole thing, because even though it might not be for me, I can see that it's a good project.

Anything that makes you add more animations should be a yes. But I'm only saying that because I love your art!

By the way, I love Monster Mind.

interestin' mechanics, kinda wish there was a setting to change the gender of the characters in the scenes, or if you added female characters.  'cus i personally ain't a fan of gay sex, not to throw shade at or judge anyone who does enjoy it, i as a straight male don't really see the appeal. but i totally understand if you choose to not add this feature! your the Dev and don't have to add it if you don't want to  and that is fine (god i am really soundin' like a passive aggressive douche right now)

yeah for sure! i know female characters are important to a lot of people, it just takes a lot of time to animate stuff like this with different genders or in some cases even change the poses so that it still make sense

I played though the tutorials and the first 2 or 3 levels.

The base game does not really interest me as much, I think personally I prefer the puzzles from monster mind. Maybe the later levels are more difficult, but trying to find and set up combos is not the style of gameplay I prefer.

It seems that it gets more messy with the dinos the more points you have? I am not quite sure about that yet, and for me, it's not that noticeable, unless I maybe were to pause for a bit. There also appears to be dialogue, but my eyes are mostly on the playing field, so I miss almost all of it.

I can see how that game could appeal to people who are into the base gameplay, it certainly invites you to keep playing a while.

For a very early demo, this might be fine for now, there seem to be a few levels already, I am not sure if there is character variation in the later levels, or if something like that is planned, if there are multiple characters or multiple different sex animations, then that would probably be more interesting, maybe that will be added in the future.

I am certainly interested in how this game develops, It may have plenty of room it can expand in, maybe I check it out again in a while, and see how it has changed from now.

thanks for the feedback! you're right, the puzzles are very simple and not at all like monster mind -- they're not the kinds of puzzles you get stuck on but more just fun levels watching numbers go up and trying to beat your high scores.

I didnt realize you were the creator behind Monster Mind! , i really love that game and was sad as i thought you simply dissapeared or such !!, glad to see you working on other things and def wouldnt mind seeing you make more games like MM! , maybe instead of Pokemon you could create one with Digimon? lol , anyway enough about that , This game isnt bad either at all! , if you do end up working on this more maybe more positions are in order, maybe you could have both the blue and uh the other one have fun with yellow one in later levels! (do they have names that i missed?) , the dialogue is so silly but yet so fitting , though i did find it rather easy , im not saying you should make it dark souls hard or something like that, I like it being more casual like but potentially it being harder that it is in later levels with more mechanics wouldnt hurt!

...i played through the whole thing, this game is amazing! it's fun, has great animations, just that it would be more interesting if it had more modes (like a match 3 mode) but in general it's a good game and the concept is interesting

Maybe more ways to set up combos (like a 1/turn or 3 turns, or at x score markers Swap mech), as well as maybe the scene plays out again after the match is won, so people who are distracted by game can watch the scene easier?

Pretty cool, do wish there were more ways to setup combos and personally I prefer the match 3 style.  But the sex is hot and the gameplays well.  Any plans for some kissing animations?

i've wondered about that! i've wondered what kinds of animations or theme would make the game fun enough to play if it wasn't adult. the best i could think was like, maybe you are trying to grant people's wishes and when you get big chains, the wish is granted in sillier and siller ways or something like that. maybe it could work!

I think it would be fun if the characters dig to find jewelry! Or it would be fun to find the best jelly among gummy!

i'm sorry! i am definitely interested in catering my games to people of all sexual preferences, although it's difficult for this kind of game with more involved animations. i'll definitely keep it in mind if i finish it and for future projects, i can probably think of something!

monster mind lets you choose the gender of your partners! grovyle asks you your preference when you start the game. you can also change their gender mid-game by buying items in the shop.

for some reason this game can't run on my PC, it says it can't initialize the video driver


edit: to make it clear, my PC is an outdated potato, but surely this game doesn't need much to run, does it?

edit 2: I found the game randomly on a random site, and it runs just fine, so I'm not sure whats going on here

i'm not really sure! it is just a 2D game so if you can run tetris you should be able to run this too

Does the driver error mention OpenGL?

That's a known issue with Godot, it's actually a problem with your PC missing Vulkan drivers. That error message is... unhelpful, and wrong.

You can force Godot to use OpenGL, but it's not guaranteed to fix the problem, if you have integrated graphics, you might be out of luck:

1.) Create a shortcut of the .exe
2.) Right-click the shortcut, and open properties.
3.) Add:" --rendering-driver opengl3" to the end of the file path.

I have to say, really good and solid game actually!
It can get definitely further improved on and extended to create it's own story (specially since we get to see one more creature on the side that I want to know more of)


I think as an interesting way to make it interesting, would be to have a sort of "infinite" or freeplay at some point of it to serve as a way to practice or get new high scores, but up to ya :P

yeah, i think having little story cutscenes every few levels or something would help the game's story feel more fleshed out! where you can get to know the other dinos and stuff like that. i'm not sure!

the idea of an 'infinite free play' is interesting, i hadn't thought about that! you can play for a very very long time on some levels already, if you learn to abuse the special powerups that give you more blocks and moves.

There’s a bug where in the browser version, only a single tile shows and everything else is pitch black

a few people have reported this! the browser version works fine for other people, so i'm guessing it depends on which browser you use, and how it is configured.

A very cool puzzle game, I had a great time. I didn't even mind the animation on the phone during combos, but I must say it's a great idea to have this animation active during the game because it adds spice to the gameplay. And the character lines are great. I'm waiting for more content from this game. As for the rating, I'll give it a 10 out of 10.



yeah, i liked the idea of integrating the sex and the puzzles a little so they happen at the same time! i'm not sure if it's perfect but it is a fun idea.

yeah, the challenge is just in beating your high scores! so it's more like tetris where the level of difficulty is just up to the player and how hard they want to push themselves.

Game's really fun!! I could see the game being scalable based on how many numbers there are - less numbers = easier, and maybe it goes up to maybe 9?! (edit: oops that's literally what happens in stage 5 hahah)

yeah! i was imagining a lot of other possible game modes too -- like a puzzle mode where you try to clear all the blocks in as few moves as possible, or powerups or stuff. i think there's a lot of potential for different ways to play!

i think instead of a gallery mode i was imagining a replay feature, where you could play back your best combos and see the characters react! i think it fits the style of game better

It's just disgusting to see, it's a waste of your talent... but if you want to make 9% (gay) of the population happy instead of the rest of 91% (normal), then yeah, your audience for it will be 10 times lower.
