what does this game know that it isn't telling me :(

haha, it just means you can't rank can only go up!! no pressure

(+3)(-3)

Brother, you've awakened the beast in me.

I barely graduated high school, dropped out of college freshman year due to grades, and was fired from every job I had because I couldn't learn how to work. I started this game from the get-go spending nearly 30 minutes on each 4-peg puzzle. Abra was so pissed that she gave me a -2 rank, which I didn't think was possible.

However, all of that changed when I met Grimer. He/she/it/they awakened something primal inside of my dormant reptilian brain, and before I knew it, I was flying through 5-pegs in seconds flat. For the hell of it, I started grinding 7-pegs, if only to attain the godly praise of my husbando/wifey/goo thing (I needed to feed it expensive toys).

Currently, Abra is sobbing dismal tears of abandon. Partially because I'm just better than her at puzzles now, and partially because I said no to her eating my brain. I pray, if you ever make a continuation of this game in the future, please make Grimer or Magnezone the primary constituents. While you're at it, please add  differential equations or discrete math puzzles, maybe even some simple puzzles to do with the equations behind quantum particle theory.

Argon, I have more admiration for you than I do for my biological parents. For this magnum opus of an experience, you get platinum-tier afterlife access. They LITERALLY REBUILDING the Garden of Eden for you, as I type this. Thank you so, so much for helping humanity, and I, realize that with the power of Poké-smut, truly anything is possible.

(+1)(-1)

yep.... what he said. (almost) Exactly what he said.

(+2)

yes!!! i can finally start working on the grimer-only sequel to monster mind. i was putting this off until i was sure somebody wanted it. thank you for making your opinion known 😛

(+1)

will this game still get updates?

(+1)

i don't have any updates planned, but other people in the discord are working on adding their own characters and stuff!

(+1)

That'd be interesting to have an open-source sort of thing for this Monster Mind. I've really loved the characters so far and have always wanted to see some new 'mons that aren't in the game

(+1)

https://gitgud.io/argonvile/monster-mind/

monster mind is open source!

It's such a classic, I love everything about. On top of it being a decent puzzle on its own, it's a steamy hot NSFW game (the dialogues throughout it really help build the mood), the characters are well-written and there's an actual plot that breaks the 4th wall, and the ending almost made me cry a little C;

I would imagine this must've took a long time, but I gotta say you have a great artistic mind, and I hope you make something as beautiful in the future.

(+1)

awww yayyy! the ending still makes me very happy. all of the pictures of your pokemon friends having a good time together. that's what life is all about! that's what pokemon is all about.  i hope you had a nice ending! i hope abra is happy 🌈

my brain... hurts, this game is so good! three pegs? easy four pegs ok thank you five pegs gives you a lot to think off but for gods sake seven pegs are ridiculously tryhard and in some way i like it, i enter for pokefilic things but I love these puzzles :3

i feel like abra enjoys the act of solving the seven pegs more than i do!! but they are certainly a tough challenge, my brain can't handle them. but at least they give you a crazy amount of money! think about all the mystery boxes you can buy!!!

(+1)

i feel like grimer's design changed idk why

no it's the same! nothing changed i promise.

dunno...feels like it was closer to the pokemon grimer design and not this more cute almost slightly humanoid type of desig

(+1)

Played this for 5 hours, and I've been enjoying it quite a lot. But holy hell, this shit is hard. 5 pegs and above becomes impossible for my pea brain. I like challenging puzzles, but this is difficult. Especially that ranking system, whatever the hell that is, it makes everything so stressful. I would like to play it more, but I feel like I can't progress at all since I simply cannot for the life of me fathom those harder challenges. Even 4 pegs is bit of a stretch at times. Still, the game is very well done regardless, so you've done well. The massive difficulty spike is my only complaint.

you don't need to do the 5 peg or higher puzzles! you can beat the game and do everything with just 4 pegs. and the ranking mode is also optional.

i agree, the harder puzzles and the ranking mode are stressful! when i play, i usually just play 3 and 4 peg puzzles and relax. sometimes i do the 5 peg puzzles but they can take me 5-10 minutes and sometimes i just want to relax!

(+3)

I'm going to be like an other person from here and make an account for the sake of commenting on this game, because holy shit!

Out of all the aspects Monster Mind has to offer, the characters and the conversations with them really exceeds everything else! The perspectives they tell of themselves -- the vast majority of which I understand, and some I can even relate to -- add a lot of life to the atmosphere, and to me, their company is the biggest reason I've kept going so far! I wish I could tell them this outright when given the opportunity, but even still, I can resonate/joke with some of the options the game gives me. Speaking of jokes, even the humorous moments are great, and one of Abra's comments in particular has definitely aged like fine wine lmao. To sum it up, it would be real kick-ass if one could party hard with these guys! :D

The puzzles and minigames themselves can also be quite engaging, and they can be real fun once you get the hang of them! No joke, some of the 5-peg puzzles took like 30 minutes the first time around, but I did manage to get them down to about 4 minutes average with techniques I figured out over time. The minigames also add some challenge on their own, because not only you need to have the knowledge for them, but the speed of which you can apply this knowledge in also matters a ton -- basically a death sentence if you're playing these with a tired mind haha. Oh, and each character has their own playstyle, apparently!

As for the NSFW parts of the game, I like to think of them as a bonus which further reinforce the characters' personalities, as each has their own preferences which you figure out over time. Hell, they even have their own sexualities! -- although, this one part does make me wonder if every character is aware of the player's gender, as it wouldn't be nice to make any heartbreaks. Rhydon is pretty much the one I'm 100% sure that I got the hang of, and oh boy, do I relate to how he perceives the idea of sex :D

I'm pretty much new to playing explicit games, but I'm glad that this was the second I've touched upon! I've played this game through a second time when I figured out there's more than one outcome, and I'm really happy I did, because my second outcome was so so much better for everyone involved! It's incredibly easy to get attached to most of the characters, and it's nice that I could make them happy! ^^ About the only thing I don't like about one character in particular is how they fail to acknowledge boundaries and possible consequences of their actions, and how they're not honest with everyone about that on top of it all -- but I'd also call them cute if it wasn't for that.

This took quite some time to write down, but dedication is what matters most in the end, really! I can tell you also had a crapton of this when you made Monster Mind. Writing down "3000 pages worth of dialog" that is also this high-quality doesn't sound like an easy feat, and that doesn't even cover everything else! I'd like to say thanks for making this beautiful game! I think it will remain close to my heart for quite some time! :]

(+2)

> Speaking of jokes, even the humorous moments are great, and one of Abra's comments in particular has definitely aged like fine wine lmao.

i wonder which one of abra's comments has aged like fine wine! ha ha. what did they say!

> I did manage to get them down to about 4 minutes average with techniques I figured out over time.

4 minutes, that's crazy!! did you do any of the rank chance puzzles? your rank must have soared if you could get those kinds of fast times consistently!

> Oh, and each character has their own playstyle, apparently!

that's right! i think it's most noticable with the tug of war game. some characters like magnezone are very slow and calculating, while others like smeargle just zip around as fast as they can, even if their moves are sometimes a little silly!

> Rhydon is pretty much the one I'm 100% sure that I got the hang of, and oh boy, do I relate to how he perceives the idea of sex :D

rhydon's tricky! but you can tell when you're doing it right, because they roar really loud... ha ha! at least they let you know they are enjoying themselves

>  I've played this game through a second time when I figured out there's more than one outcome, and I'm really happy I did, because my second outcome was so so much better for everyone involved!

wow, that's amazing! i feel like the ending is a little complex and i don't know which ending i like better. but -- i think one of them has a little bit of a better message to it.

> I'd like to say thanks for making this beautiful game! I think it will remain close to my heart for quite some time! :]

thanks so much, i'm glad the game touched you in such a person way as to inspire such a thoughtful comment! when i made this game, i'd never played a game like this and the idea was so big i just didn't even think it was possible to make. but i wanted to try to make it, and find out what made it impossible. but it turns out -- making a game like this isn't impossible at all! it just takes a very very long time. but hearing from fans like you reassures me that it was time well spent :D

i'll keep making games! i don't know if any of my other games will be as special as monster mind, but it's fun to make games. i think monster mind was a unique kind of game because it felt like i was being united with some old friends! maybe it felt that way to you too.

(+1)

That comment of Abra is pretty far into the game, but it's the topic where they mention one of the companies that belongs to a man who became quite infamous at around 2022. At the time of writing, I had their project in mind which was involved in the Ukraine-Russian conflict, because it felt really ironic with the game's topic at hand, but not long ago I realized that I might've misremembered that whole situation -- the CEO shutting down their whole service to Ukraine by themselves is what I remembered, but as it turns out that was quite a stretch. Even still, something like that could still probably happen considering that CEO is not exactly a decent person, but I guess it's only time that can tell that for sure.

I think I had my highest record in my second playthrough, which was 48! Since then though, my latest rank got down to a 43, as I can't always bring my best haha! Finding out you could mark the pegs as correct/incorrect has helped a ton, and I had gotten used to a technique where I use those marks to take note of how many of each colors are surely and surely not in the final answer while ignoring the position. That way you can even check for errors easily as you compare the amount of correct bugs in the clue with the amounts of dots and hearts next to it. It's only the correct positions you need to find out after that, really.

With getting two of the outcomes, and giving them a little thought, I feel like I scammed the character involved in my first, since they really barely know anything about the player, as well as it turns out it's nothing an alternative can't fix -- and thinking it was right before their special day might be the worst part about it. Even with me wanting the best for them in both scenarios, helping them with an alternative has left me with the most happiness -- even if i did start doubting myself in the middle of that one-

Can't lie though, I'm both amazed at, and might be a tiny little bit jelly of the level of your persistence haha, but it's really nothing some time and practice can't fix! Extremely long work does sound quite scary, especially with not being able to be consistent like myself with such projects, but it has to be some real great feeling when that same hard work does pay off in the end -- and don't be shy about embracing that! :D Your other game works I've yet to look into properly, but it's definitely in my plans! In the meantime, I'm hoping I could get some wholesome content in the making of these goobers anytime soon -- be it wholesome wholesome, or oddly wholesome ones haha!

(+1)

wow, 48! that's crazy, congrats!!

yeah, i don't think i have a crazy work ethic but i just try to get a little done every day! that works best for me. there's been a crazy amount of monster mind fanart over the years -- i have a little collection of it and i'm always delighted when i see something new! there are so many talented artists out there

(+2)

Sooooo… you made me cry. That ending was beautiful. May need a sequel that lets us check in on everyone. ^^

I'd definitely love some more lore to these guys, even if it's not something full-fledged like this one! :D

yeah! the pokemon are really special to my heart. i'm sure they're all doing great 🥰 i wonder if you have a favorite!

(+1)

Smeargle and Kecleon are  my absolute favorites.

ha ha, they are such a cute couple! i'm so happy for the both of them

(+1)

How do I type the numbers to get my save back? And how I write it correctly?

when you start a new game, grovyle will ask you for your password! they ask you just after asking for your same name.

make sure to use the same name, or the password won't work!

Idk why but they doesnt ask me my password :( Is it because I am on the website game?

i'm really not sure! lots of people play on the web but it asks them their password. that's so strange!

(1 edit) (+1)

I didn't know there was an end to this... I've just played it once in a while for ages.

Now I just want Abra to be happy! <3

And Grimer...

Great game.

wow did you actually find the ending! that's amazing, it takes a very long time to unlock everything. i hope abra is happy too!! 😀

thank you for playing monster mind 💜

purple bug spawned on a heart coverin it, i lost my perfect streak cus a bug told me there werent any puple bugs in the solution, 10/10 game

(+1)

those little guys are so cheeky sometimes!

(+4)

This is truly a masterpiece. Even setting aside all adult elements, the characterization of each character in this game is something that many commercial games, which rely on character traits as selling points, cannot achieve. At the same time, the puzzles are more interesting and diverse compared to other adult games. I wish the creator success in the development of their new work and hope to see more sequels related to this game in the future. However, can someone tell me what the progress bars under each character and item represent? I may have skipped the explanation about them.

(+2)

> However, can someone tell me what the progress bars under each character and item represent? I may have skipped the explanation about them.

i don't think you missed anything! they never tell you about it except in some optional shop dialog

those bars are "horny meters" -- some pokemon are naturally more horny or less horny, but the meter will also deplete if they have a really fulfilling sex scene.

(+3)

This is a borderline masterpiece of a small adult game, some of the jokes had me startling my pets in the middle of the night with the loud giggling, the puzzles have a nice amount of difficulty variety, the bonus games are a little too challenging at the start but after playing for a while it feels appropriate (and I'm just personally bad at the scale one lol) One thing I do really really wish there was the option for is to switch the characters 'bits' without switching their genders, and an option to say if the player's bits don't match their gender, I know there's the "it's complicated" but that's not quite the same :) Love this game, can't wait for more characters ^.^

(+3)

wow, thank you for the glowing review! i agree the minigames are pretty hard, especially if you get matched against specific pokemon who are really good at them. some of them are really fast or really smart! and they all know the rules, but you have to learn them.

i totally understand as far as "switching bits without genders", honestly the most complicated part of it would just be changing all the dialog and crude jokes to match the 81 different combinations of pronoun/gender. however, the game is open source if someone wants to take a crack at it!

i'm still working on making games, so i hope you'll play the next one i make 😀 thanks for trying out monster mind! say hi to abra for me~

whats the issue with having a single letter name. like, goddamn. chill tf out

help i cant complet the second game

(+1)

i'm sorry! there are a lot of different puzzles even if you just do the novice puzzles, and grovyle can help you if you forget the rules. otherwise -- there is also a discord server where people can explain the puzzles! sometimes they can teach better than grovyle

(+2)

I discovered this game a few days ago on... Ahem, a website, and this was not what I was expecting... The visuals are super cute, the you-know-what is hawt, and the puzzles are so fun and entertaining!!! I absolutely love this!!!! Raaahhh!!!!!

(+3)

oh that's great! "rahhh?" you sound like a rhydon fan! ha ha ha

(+2)

holy fucking shit what kind of einstein made these puzzles? I was actually feeling humbled by both grovyle and abra. Seeing shit im not seeing. dizzy bro

(+1)

the puzzles are really tough! but it's normal to stick with the novice and 3 peg puzzles for a long time until they get boring. you can see a ton of content just with those puzzles alone! don't worry about the harder stuff if it isn't fun

(+1)

It's an entertaining game but I got stuck on the 4-color puzzle. I already saw the tutorial for that one but I didn't understand anything.

(+1)

totally makes sense, the 4 color puzzles are very hard! they get easier with time if you stick with them, but it may take a lot of hints at first. there is a discord where people can help you with puzzles if you want to try and get better.

if you get really stuck on puzzles, monsters bring you treasure chests too. they're supposed to take a few minutes, so it's normal to feel a little frustrated if you can't get the answer right away. but, i'm sorry if this makes the game less fun.

(+1)

Aaa I got stuck on the 4 color puzzle and I can't think of what to do anymore.

the 4 color puzzles are very difficult sometimes!! if you get stuck, don't forget you can ask for hints. there is also a discord server with a #mm-puzzle-help channel, where people can help sometimes.

there's a lot of crazy techniques grovyle won't even teach you in tutorials!! people have gotten really good at the game

(+1)

Hi, is the green guy with yellow just a for market to replace the blue guy or is he part of the Ahem thing, cuz I did all of them except for him? If so, how to let him

you can't have sex with with kecleon! i don't remember when he talks about it, but there is a story reason why he doesn't want to do it. he is just there to cheer on smeargle~

(+1)

It would be sweet if there was an option to, after learning the whole smeargle and kecleon story and you do some things right, like if the pc could earn enough trust and intimacy with the two or something ^.^

Alguien me puede decir como se juega es que no se ingles XD

en el que dice novice los corazones blancos representan cuantos de los bichos que estan en el contenedor estan ahi (losiento si me explique mal es que soy malo redactando XD

(1 edit)

Las reglas son como Mastermind:

https://es.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mastermind

En mi versión, los corazones indican cuántos monstruos son correctos. En el modo avanzado, los corazones rojos significan que el monstruo está en la posición correcta y los puntos blancos que está en la posición incorrecta. Y solo tienes un intento.

¡Buena suerte!

How can this game be translated into other languages?

(+1)

If you know someone good with computers and programming who would like to translate, let me know and I can help them get started!

https://gitgud.io/argonvile/monster-mind/

The game is open source and anyone can download the files and start translating! ...But, there is a LOT of dialog -- about as much as a 3,000 page novel! Someone started translating it into Mandarin Chinese 8 years ago. They didn't finish, but they translated about 50 pages worth which was a tremendous accomplishment, even if it is still only about 2% of the game.

(+2)

Hey I really love this game it's so fun and the characters are so cute, btw are you gonna add more stuff to the game?

(+3)

I have no plans to expand the game right now, but I'm working on a new NSFW game! i have a few ideas but expect something later this year~

(+1)

I am very excited to hear about this new game!!

(+1)(-1)

is the game still safe for Android? bc it keeps saying this may put my phone at risk

(+1)

I built it myself and it doesn't reach out to the internet or anything like that! I don't understand what kind of privacy concerns they could possibly be referring to, it has the same privacy concerns as Minesweeper

ohh ok ty

(1 edit) (+1)

How can I even start a new save on Browser?

I changed my mind on the initial settings

There are three save slots! After you finish Grovyle's initial tutorial, you can access the save slots from the options if you want to start over

The tutorial puzzles always have the same solutions so you should be able to get through them quickly the second time!

(+1)

This could be a my phone is being bad problem but I tried to open a new save file and now it only shows a black screen (for the web version)

(+1)

Very fun game btw

(+1)

Thank you! :D I hope you enjoy it~

(+1)

I'm not sure, I haven't updated the game in four months! The web version still works fine for me (Windows 10, Chrome 139.0.7258.139)

You might try a different browser to see if that helps.

Good news and bad news I got back into the game by restarting my phone bad news is that I forgot to get a new picture of my password before resetting and now my save I think is now lost

I tried 3 more times it called me Ryan then hellen sadness goodbye my save

NEVERMIND MY PHONE GLITCHED AND HID MY SCREENSHOT OF THE PASSWORD WOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

oh okay, phew! i'm glad you got your password back

(1 edit)

okay i think the tutorial broke on my save or something

I've tried every combo I possibly could and it still tells me I'm doing something wrong

Edit: restarting it fixed the problem, must've been a problem with my browser

That's really strange! When you make a mistake they should tell you exactly which clue it violates, so I'd be incredibly curious, if there's a bug, what kind of messages they tell you.

(1 edit) (+1)

it was weird because even when i used the right answer, the third clue always told me something was wrong. I spun in circles for a few more minutes before thinking something was wrong with how the game loaded.  I still don't know what caused it, but It was def something with the browser i use, as again, reloading the page fixed it, as it finally counted as right when i tried after the reload. not really a problem with your game, just my browser.

Edit: It's also possible my brain itself bugged out and tricked me into thinking i'd used the right answer when i hadn't.

(+1)

I loved this game... even though it has pornographic content, well that's not a problem for me... I love puzzle games and cute little creatures and its art style really highlights the cuteness of the Pokémon and I noticed that it has a certain "Pokémon Mystery Dungeon" vibe because of the icons hehe, and like... will there ever be more updates adding new Pokémon? I hope my comment is noticed, please leave me a reply

(+1)

I'm not planning to add more pokemon, but I'd like to make another puzzle game like this some day. I haven't decided what will go into it, but puzzle games are dear to my heart and I loved all of the dialogue and little friends who went into this game! I don't want it to be the last one 😀

(+1)

Hope you do make another puzzle game. Even if it's not pokemon, the characters you create would still be fun to see

thanks, yeah i'd love to try!!

(+2)

Does speed matter at the special scenes? Do I have to do it at a specific speed or can I just jackhammer it

(+1)

Most of the time you can just go fairly fast, although occasionally/with some characters (I think buizel was one?) they'll ask you to go slower and stuff like that. But in general yeah, just check the hearts to see how you're doing if you're not sure.

(1 edit) (+1)

I hope the developer sees this, but if not I'd have just been glad to have said my peace. First off, I just want to say thank you for making this beautiful game, it seriously touched my heart, and not just because yk the porn lmao. Seriously though, I had a really hard time finishing the game because of the things Abra was experiencing, it felt very relatable to some things I've been experiencing myself for a while now (besides the drinking, thankfully), and having to wait in between learning more about their story kept giving me anxiety lol. In the end though, I was able to finish the game, and let me tell you this is one of very few games that has actually gotten me to tear up. I know it's just a simple puzzle game with porn elements, but this game really is a masterpiece and I hope you can be proud of this absolutely incredible gem of a game. Thank you for making this game, as this is now legitimately one of my favorite games, unironically. I'm not exactly great at putting things into words, and I feel as though I've left out some stuff because I can't put said feelings into words, but I hope you get the gist of what I'm trying to say lol. Seriously, thank you for making this game and I hope you have an incredible day.

Edit: I literally made an account just to post this lol

Thank you for this heartfelt comment!

Abra's storyline is close to my heart as well, and I think it's natural sometimes to have problems, and make big sweeping changes in your life when sometimes, your problems just need smaller changes. Changes like asking for help, reaching out to communities or finding someone to talk to.

I'm glad you were able to finish the game and I hope you helped Abra find happiness. It's hard to pick a favorite character, and I relate to bits and pieces of each one! But I think that's my favorite part about how the game turned out, how it just feels like a group of friends and you see them and think "Oh they're back! I should play with them, I haven't talked to them for awhile." That's a good feeling, and it's nice to have friends who want to solve puzzles with you and who cheer you on when you finish 😀

Thanks so much for playing Monster Mind! If you want to talk more about your experience or make some friends, we have a discord too. It's still active after 8 years which is crazy to me! But I think it just emphasizes your point that I lucked into something special. I hope some day lightning can strike again. Anyways, thank you again, this was delightful to read and really brightened my morning.

I tried this on a whim, and now I'm kind of hooked... Maybe it's because I don't play NSFW games or Pokemon anymore, but this gave me a nostalgic vibe bringing me back to when I did like this stuff over a decade ago in my 20s. And the puzzles are neat, and the dialogue is funny too. I appreciate how you can pick your sexuality/genders, I didn't expect to feel so comfortable with that affirmed but it made me happy. I admit trying the sex stuff was surface-level, but when reading the guides for what each character likes specifically, I'm going to try again because I like how personalized each Pokemon is. I think I'm going to download this (since... you know what Itch.io is doing with NSFW game -_-) and the Android port to play for awhile.

Awesome, glad you're having a good time with it! There's a lot of depth to the puzzles if you want to explore it, trying harder puzzles with 4 and 5 pegs, learning new techniques to solve them faster and building up your rank. But honestly you can just finish the game with 3 and 4 peg puzzles and the Pokemon will love you for it, because it means you spend more time with them 😀 so I hope you'll come back and explore the game however you like! There's a lot of cool stuff.

(+2)

I don't really do this, but I just wanna come on and say..thank you.

This game has really impacted my life in a positive way, I got to connect with Pokemon I would likely otherwise overlook, and it made me feel like I had a genuine connection with them, genuine friendships, that it often felt like I was actually connecting with them, and I've had dreams of meeting them for real, and hanging out.

I recently played the game again for a friend, and it was the first time I've completed the game, and it was fun, my friend has had a hard time liking Abra, and still doesn't -  w-", but they still liked the majority of the characters, and Buizel is actually close to how we interpreted our own Buizel.

And lastly, I love this game because to me, it's not just a porn game, it actually tickled my brain, and gave me joy just being around the characters and how they interacted with me, sure I'm there for the porn, but it's a nice side-thing to the game.

All of this to say, once again, thank you for making this game, it's had a positive impact on me.

(+1)

Wow that's great! I wanted the game to feel just like that. I really just wanted the game to feel like "ten friends in a box", a bunch of diverse characters waiting for you who were always glad you came and always had something nice to say. I never played a game like that before, and wondered if I could make it.

I was skeptical that the "ten friends in a box" thing was an idea that was makeable and i was skeptical that anyone would enjoy it that way! Since so many people would want to just skip the dialogue to get to the porn parts. But I'm really glad some people like you found joy in it and I'm glad the game enriched your life. It means a lot to read things like this! You made my day.

Abra's the protagonist and they're the reason the game exists! But that doesn't mean they're fun to hang out with. Buizel is absolutely delightful but they could never make something as big as Monster Mind. ...I think it's because while Buizel is thinking about ways to make people smile, Abra is thinking about how to solve hard programming problems!! Ha ha. But we all are special and important to the world, and even if someone like Buizel can't point to something special they made like Abra can, I think Buizel can think about friends like you and feel a little better about themselves 😀

Thanks for playing!

I've drawn a bunch of other pics of characters with the monster mind style! Riolu, Porygon Z, Nidoking, Toxtricity, Mewtwo, Druddigon, Zangoose... and even a few non-pokemon like Sparky from Lilo And Stitch.

They weren't fakes but more like fanart!

you can find the pics on e621! they're not animated or split into 20 different layers or anything like that, they're just drawings i made

Finally got 100% in the game and wow, what a great experience it was. All of the characters were so nice to just talk to and the slight story there was with Abra was nice. I couldn't help but smile while looking at the credits.

wow congrats, 100% is an amazing accomplishment!

i put a lot of work into the credits, i felt like if anyone was willing to put in the hours to finish the game i wanted to have something special for them. I'm glad it made you smile, and I hope someday I can make another game to make you smile again :D

I'll be looking forward to it!

Also slight question just because I'm curious: Do the boxes Heracross sells are even able to have anything at all? I already got 2 and I can't be bothered to grind even more for a 3rd.

Yes, if you buy enough mystery boxes you can get an item from them -- it is an electric version of the vibrator toy, with a special button to zap the pokemon. (they do not like it...)

frankly it is not worth the grind, and it does not count towards your completion percent! but if you come back to the game and do puzzles every once in awhile, maybe some day you can unlock it. you have to open about 8-10 mystery boxes, i think.
